Initially, I needed somewhere safe to keep my stuff while working on rolling contracts outside of Auckland. Nowadays I am in a more stable job and my living accommodation is good, but small! So Storage King has become like that convenient 'spare room' - the unit I have with them is reasonably priced, and just the right size for those practical-but-not-everyday items (camping gear and costumery etc), for documents, and for those sentimental items on the slightly big side.
Convenient and easy accessibility during the company's hours; a dry, secure, and well maintained location, and great staff (thank you Colleen and Chris!), have made my past decade (or two!) with this company most agreeable!
I would not hesitate to recommend their services. :)

These guys couldn't be more helpful. My wife and I have had a number of lockers here over many years and have always enjoyed Storage Kings professionalism. The staff are always ready to help with any issues or to find smaller or larger units as required.

This is a top notch operation. It's the second occasion I've used Storage King, Grey Lynn. After an interval of 11 years, the service and facilities are even better than they were in 2008. Chris and Colleen are still with the firm and, together with David, provide excellent, friendly service. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I have been a customer for over twenty years. I recently had to reduce my storage from 8 cubic meters to 1 cubic metre. As usual, the staff were helpful, the facilities excellent and when I cut my finger, they even gave me antiseptic and a plaster! The storage of my goods for eight years was perfect - all in very excellent order and the provision of a paper-reclaim dumpster meant the easy destruction of out of date tax records. They were unable to provide a waste container but explained that it was impractical for them, and I accept that. I look forward to a few more years of protection of a few personal effects but I know that they will be in good order when I get back to NZ in a while. I would recommend them for many reasons, location, service, quality, facility and last but not least, they are professional and friendly.
